History: My childhood consisted of only a few things: friends, playing backyard sports with friends past curfew, man hunt, teenage mutant ninja turtles and Nintendo. It was pretty fun now that I think about it. Then somewhere in between that, Rurouni Kenshin came into my life and paved the way for anime to take it over. Then before I knew what happened, I kind of had to go to college and figure out what the hell I wanted to do in my life. Somehow, I came up with the conclusion I wanted to get a ph.d., find the cure for cancer and save the world. I figure I need to take that one step at a time.
Sports: I'm a pretty avid sports fan, as I follow football (NFL), basketball, hockey, baseball and college football and basketball seasons pretty closely. So if you ever want to have a discussion about anything that has to do with sports, feel free to post a comment. I'll totally debate with you how utterly stupid the BCS system is in college football. The new playoff system is definitely a step in the right direction.

And now I am exhausted of my one-day visit to an anime convention called Abunai, which was tons of fun with my friends, but different from the con I usually go to. There even were dragon dancers and they were really good! :D
Let's see. I got Dazzle (also known as Hatenkou Yuugi) volume 8 from a good friend of mine for my birthday and I am really really happy with that because it is out of print (because of the Tokyopop faillisement). Even if I am never able to complete the series, I am happy to have at least these first 8. The things that I bought are a awesome figurine of Himari of Mawaru Penguindrum in her resurrection form and next to that 4 cheap manga in the sale. This was the first convention (I visited 6 others before) that I actually took pictures and talked with lots of cosplayers, which was nice! I am definitely taking my camera with me again next time! :D

Ah yes, fine, thank you! 21 now, so I can drink legally in America now. Not that I want to. I watched plenty of anime, of course, since we last spoke. The most recent one that I finished was Rose of Versailles, which was pretty awesome!
