I'm in same situation that you, I think. In my country there was a inundation that killed 50 people but was nearly 800 miles of my city and I haven't relatives there, but is very sad.
Dansai Bunri No Crime Edge is a good airing anime too :) The first episode was meh but things got serious from the second. Wow.

I don't watch Destiny because I loved SEED and as I was told it was not very good and then I left for the future.
I don't like the fanservice, usually. In fact I hate Code Geass because seems overly stylized for be mecha.
I've seen some of this season but I think I will continue to time because I'm watching Keroro Gunso, Fairy Tail and others.
Shingeki, Ginga Majestic Prince, Sousei no Gargantia are nice. Still others didn't like me as Zettai Bouei Leviathan. But definitely I will not see Date A live for the moment. Is ugly.

Ah, so you love characters with electric abilities :P No, my favourite character from Toaru was Accelerator. Never got why Misaka's praised that much. I see I see. There are some Naruto characters who use wind, otherwise the wind powers aren't very used in anime, that's a pity.

WE ARE TWO. Shingeki No kyojin <3 <3 <3 Omg it was so great. The soundtrack, the art, the atmosphere, the chara, the... THE TITANS. I watched the opening at least 452145452154 times.
