I have been an anime fan since I was about 13 and was really obsessed with it for a couple years, then I lost interest in it. I have gotten back into it now, though, and I want to see all the anime I missed out on!! I am also an artist and writer, in my senior year of college. Amaya-Kiku means "Night Rain-Chrysthanthemum"

That's quite interesting. I went to go double check what Tenchi series I had, and my box-set is actually a collection of the OVAs (Ryo-Ohki 1-3). I apparently haven't seen any of the "actual" series. XD
I probably should've seen a goodly amount of anime, but I was one of those teenagers that just watched DBZ. That was the show back then!! And like you I took a break from anime. My break was about 8 or 9 years. Now that I'm back it's pretty sweet!
Oh! If you're looking for some awesome anime that's completed, I don't think I can recommend anything better than Fate/Zero!! Just amazing. Mitsudomoe is a really funny/perverted show.
Compare our anime lists if you're interested. I have some duds on mine, probably. XP But I tend to think that I have decent taste.

Okay. A break every now and then is good. Vampire Princess does sound interesting. Oh! Tenchi!! That was the show that really made me an otaku. Well, maybe not an otaku, but I actually loved it enough to spend the full $70 on the DVD set. That was close to a decade ago. ^_^
Simulcast = simultaneous broadcast. In other words, a show is currently running in Japan, and it's being simultaneously broadcast in other countries.

Lol, don't really meet a lot of girl who like harem anime :o
I like action, romances, fantasy, milla, mecha, slice of life, drama, psychological, and superpower anime. But I usually go for an action and/or romance like Accel world ~
