I watched everything (except for Tenchi Muyo in Love and the hentai) and I really liked it, I'd wish there would be more Tenchi Anime or sth. else 'cause I like his work.

Creator of the Tehchi-Verse, and a strong indirect influence on many modern anime. His unsung classic "Photon" features many subtle effects that would later go on to be copied in more recent anime, and features a "happy harem ending" which is not an anime staple.
