Gerard Arthur Way (born April 9, 1977 in Newark, New Jersey) is an American musician and comic book writer who was the lead vocalist and co-founder of the band My Chemical Romance (2001 - 2013). He is also the writer of the Eisner Award-winning comic book The Umbrella Academy.

Everyone loves Gerard Way. They just don't want to admit it. Just because he had awesome hair (until it went white) doesn't mean you have to hate up on him. His hair is better, just chill. Haha.
