Seirei no Moribito is one of the best animes I've ever seen

Definitely needs more love! I wonder if she'll write more new stories. I loved both series, but Kemono no Souja Erin definitely the most. Mainly because Erin isn't a stupid girl who doesn't know what she's doing.

I really love the stories that she has written. I hope to see more of the Guardian and Kemono no Souja series animated.

She looks kinda like my granny, she has the same kindness in her eyes :) I love her works, who cares if they are meant for children, such quality is rare.

It's really hard to write good and inspiring books intended for children that still retain a level of reality without sugarcoating everything. Even though her works are "children's books" they can be enjoyed by adults. That's exactly what makes a good "children's book" a good "children's book"...
Although her style and her themes are different she somehow reminds me of "Astrid Lindgren"... she is different in many ways - her worlds are more accurate/precise and the cultures described have more depths, but the level of creativeness is about the same.

More people should read her stories to their children.
Reading to children is precious and all parents should take their time to do so. A television can't replace a good book read to excited children.
