tehnominator : Watch the Black Jack OVA's. Now that's an anime! I really like what he did there. Took tezuka's already dark series, and made it even darker and grittyer. Only thing I didn't like was all the random tripple takes, and dramatic stills he used. I can't believe they thought that would be a good idea. They get really anoying. But other then that, it's a top level anime.

What are you waiting to watch Ace Wo Nerae and Ashita No Joe?

This man was highly influential on the modern anime with his works of the seventies.

Classic shit though :\

He's all right, but not the best.

His direction of the Air and Clannad movies left many things to be desired, not to mention those Lupin III movies as well.

Rose of Versailles and Onii-sama e... seem to be the only things he did really well, that I've seen.
