This man is the master of getting emotion out of simple camera angles, even in his earlier work, Generator Gawl you could see evidence of that. And of course, the Original Fullmetal Alchemist was Directed flawlessly. He really knows how to pull out all the stops! Amazing Director!!

He didn't fail on Gundam 00 up until the movie, which he failed on completely, especially after building it up so well, this is why I was annoyed when I found out he was directing cause of the whole FMA thing, brilliant anime, disappointing movie but even the Conqueror of Shamballa's ending was better than the shitty excuse for A wakening of the Trailblazer's ending.
