The Sky Crawlers was an amazing movie. It has really made an impact on me, and becoem one of my all time favorites. This man has yet to let me down. Keep impressing me Oshii...

It was a pity that he dropped the directing of Urusei yatsura, it was becoming weirder and weirder, I wonder how would be the rest of the series if he would continue with it.

I actually find it pretty hilarious that, immediately after doing The Sky Crawlers, he ends up directing Halo Legends.

A great influence on me, the minute I came in contact with Angel's Egg I was amazed at how unique his directing was. Definitely my favorite director overall.
