I think she is an amazing story teller. I usually cannot stand to read manga with annoying female leads and her female leads are some of the most annoying (sorry this had to be said), but even still her stories just pull me in. It really says something about her genius as a story teller. I do admit her character have been getting better and more complex (which just makes her works even better). Her art is amazing as well. One of my favourite mangaka for quite some time. :)

Yuu Watase is one of the best shojo mangaka ever! I have all the Fushigi Yugis, as well as 6 Genbu Kaiden and 2 Imadoki Nowadays, and I love, love, LOVE Yuu Watase! ^ ^ I even used her as my hero for an oral.

Ayashi No Ceres is fail. Absolutely tedious.
Fushigi Yuugi (1st series only) is really nice, but too long.
Sakura Gari is the proof that she should make more yaoi manga instead of crappy shoujo ones.
