Website: http://www.modusproduct...Member Favorites: 71 More: Tiffany Lynn Grant is an American voice actor who is known for her English-dubbing work with ADV Films on such anime films and television series as Neon Genesis Evangelion, in which she voiced the character Asuka Langley Soryu (which she claims is her favorite role).
Grant is also known for portraying Altena in Noir and Ryoko Subaru in Martian Successor Nadesico. Although appearing in ADV titles, she is an independent contractor, not an ADV employee.
Grant, along with a handful of other ADV contractors, also works with Fort Worth-based anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment on series such as Fullmetal Alchemist. Grant enjoyed her role as Neon Genesis Evangelion's Asuka so much that she briefly reprised the character in the radio plays and fan-produced anime derived from the fanfiction series Neon Genesis Evangelion: R. She has also mentioned her desire to reprise her role yet again in the upcoming Rebuild of Evangelion films. She has also cosplayed as Asuka (in Asuka's familiar red EVA-02 plugsuit and her school uniform) at anime conventions.
It has been thought the main reason Grant got the role as Juli Mizrahi in Xenosaga: The Animation was because many fans mistook her voice for that of Juli in the Original Game.
Grant was born in Houston, Texas. She is married to Matt Greenfield, director, co-founder of ADV and also a voice actor. (Voice of Makoto Hyuga in Neon Genesis Evangelion under the pseudonym Brian Granveldt).

Hamsterlad, I don't know who told she would be in Lucky Star but she isn't. Lucky Star is recorded in L.A. and Tiffany lives in Texas.

I can't even watch the Japanese dub of NGE. Auska with out Grant's voice is too off. Heall, I heard that because she can speak German helped with the dubbing.

If there is anyone else out there who could play Asuka better than she can, I don't want to know about it! Her voice IS Asuka's voice. Even OOC, if you listen to a commentary track, you would think you were listening to Asuka comment on another anime!
