It really annoys me the fact that people say that Japanese dubs are better, ok, they're the originals and are good but come on, give the English voice actors credit for taking their time to put their voices into a great movie...if you don't like it, then watch it in Japanese only and quit flaming the English voice overs, I give credit to both for outstanding performances...sheesh who cares -__- long as the character has a voice in our language then I don't mind who does it (unless they really do fuck it up with a bad script and voice acting coach) then you can complain, but this acting was pretty well done -__- also Dakota, good work, you did your thing <3

After just watching this, I'm surprised anyone can be disappointed in her or her sister's performance. I thought they were fantastic and I'm not one for giving much credit to English dubs.

The original English voice actors were better than Disney's voice over. Sorry Dakota fans. =/
Disney's voice over with Dakota doesn't even compare to the Japanese though.

Huh, I didn't know Dakota Fanning worked in anime... I mostly watch her live action stuff... I never saw the English dub for Totoro though, so I can't judge how well she did... although I did watch Coraline, which was also a voice-over type thing, which was done pretty well... yay Dakota~!

There are two english dubbs for this movie, Streamline and Disney,the first actress that voiced Satsuki Kusakabe in english was Lisa Michelson not Dakota Fanning >.< .
