Manga 'Haikyuu!!' Gets Third Season of TV Anime

The 16th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump of 2016, which will go on sale on March 19, has announced a third anime adaptation of the Haikyuu!! volleyball manga.

The manga by Haruichi Furudate was first adapted into a TV anime that ran for 25 episodes in 2014. That series was summarized in two compilation movies last year. A second season has been airing since October and will end on March 27.

The series recently won the 64th Shougakukan Manga Award for shounen manga.

Oh, thank you for this <3 So the third season will cover the Shiratorizawa match I suppose.

yeah i'll be surprised if they cover something else, it is really too soon for a 2 cour season 3

But it will be only this one match ? I would like seeing Nationals so much.. Because I've never seen such thing amongst all sports anime i watched.

I'm actually a little apprehensive that hq is getting a new season so fast when other shows don't fare as well :( still, I'm stoked for another season of quality sports

Bet the Shiratorizawa's match will be like 13 episodes long. Well, it's the best match of the whole series, and they're a hell of a team, so I don't mind. But I still wonder how they'll deal with the pacing.
If they increase the animation quality I'll prob die.
