An anime happening in Shikoku, that's pretty rare. When I read"udon no kuni" I was wondering if that was the case and yep, kagawa prefecture.
Just with that this may already be worth the check.

The staff doesn't look really promising though.

The key visual looks absolutely adorable.

Really looking forward to this.

Aww this looks adorable! ^O^ I loved Barakamon, this looks like another fluffy slice of life with the kid causing tons of trouble but still managing to be a cute little pot of pie... Looking forward to it!

I LOVE THIS SERIES. POKO IS MY LIL BABY. (hi i'm one of like five people reading this on mal) I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS GETTING ANIMATED. I'M SO EXCITED.

*crosses fingers* I hope Nakamura Yuuichi can voice Tawara Souta.

Also, this series is more on the lines of Barakamon. More AWWWWWWWWW and maybe a lil less humor.

I love these kinds of stories, Gugure Kokkuri-san (which was highfreakinlarious and cute) and Barakamon (judging by my profile I am 100% sold on that one). I have a feeling it is chalk full of slice of life warmth. I'm a sucker for a good slice of life anime. I will definitely watch it.

And yes Tawara Souta just screams Ono Daisuke. Just like he did with Seishuu, I'm sure he would kill it. Hope they cast him for the role.

Sounds weird but also like it will be cute. Possibly something in the vein of Usagi Drop or Barakamon (though I haven't watched the latter).

I'll watch it.

I always love a slice of life anime with the protagonist taking care of a kid. It gives me a heartwarming feeling. Let's see if the PV is going to be interesting.

Poko/Poco --> Pico = Boku no Pico
I dunno man...
Jk, I'll check it out. It kinda sounds like Yotsuba, and I find that forever charming so maybe this will be forever charming too. ouo)b
Not gonna lie; clicked because I thought it'd be a food anime though.

Surprised to see any positive reactions here; it's basically Boku no Pico with a web designer.

Sounds very cute :) Stories about taking care of a kid are always nice.

When it comes to anime and manga, I disagree. They usually condone pedophilia.

Never judge a show by it's cover or synopsis alone.

We have shows like Barakamon, Usagi Drop (not the Manga), and Kokkuri-san, so what's the harm?

The cover picture definitely gives off more Barakamon vibes than anything else.
