P.A. Works Announces Original Anime 'Kuromukuro' for 2016

It was announced for the 15th anniversary by P.A. Works that an original anime titled Kuromukuro will debut in 2016. Tensai Okamura (Nanatsu no Taizai) will be directing the anime.

Wow the shirobako cast is now fighting mechas, I don't know the PV wants me to think it's like a blockbuster movie with explosions and choirs, it doesn't feel very epic at all. PA works, I've grown tired of their novelty at this point.

P.A. Works doing a Mecha show... not sure about this. Hoping it will be on the darker side compared to something like Robotics notes. More Originals is a good thing in my eyes.

My relationship with P.A Works has been hit or miss recently with Glasslip and Charlotte, so I really want this show to be awesome and not flop like those other shows.

Wow, I never expected PA Works to do a mecha work, like whaaat. They primarily do slice of life, if not, almost always. I'm usually never excited about mecha, but color me interested. The male MC at least doesn't look like some generic guy, that's always a plus. The mechs look great too.
