New 'Ano Natsu de Matteru' Anime in Production [Update 3/22]

It has been announced that a new anime of Yousuke Kuroda's original TV series, Ano Natsu de Matteru, is currently in production. The anime will feature the same staff and cast from the previous series, but no further details have been revealed yet.

Ano Natsu was not the best show, especially if you watched Onegai Teacher (which wasn't the best show, either).

I'm not sure why this is happening.

Why are they picking shows that don't need sequels for sequels*coughchuunibyou. On the other hand, many shows could use proper sequels and they don't get them.
