Clannad and Princess Resurrection to Be Released in Half-Season Sets

An American anime distributor, ADV Films, reported recently that it will release Clannad and
Princess Resurrection in half-season sets, instead of previously planned single DVDs.
The first 12 episodes (300 minutes) of Clannad will ship on March 3rd and the first 13 episodes (325 minutes) of Princess Resurrection will ship on March 17th. The suggested price for each is US$39.98. ADV Films is trying out this new approach after much thought and talking with fans.

i wish it was dub but i'm gonna buy cause i sure do want the cover art :) i'll end up sledge hammering the fansubs if it comes out!

Kind of sad if it's not dubbed, though. I mean, I would normally take a sub over a dub any day, but if I want anyone else I know to watch it, they won't watch anything except for dubs. Which sucks. >_>

Guh -____-. Getting annoyed at this new trend of half-season "boxed" sets. Anyone see the Ghost Hunt half season "box"? It's practically thinner than a single dvd. I LOVE collecting and owning the large proper artboxes. At least Darker than Black and Claymore are getting proper (as in, artbox and then single volumes) releases.

I will definitely buy/import Clannad, and I hope this will get the support it deserves, so that After Story will be licensed too.

Urusai Baka Chiuwawa .. I care about dubs. I have seen Clannad subbed 5 times I was majorly looking forward to the Dub version of Clannad. Think before you speak Baka!

Seriously though, I'm shocked that ADV's making these two shows sub only. I figured they would use these shows to show off their dub casts again. I guess ADV can't even afford to fund a dub right now.

I actually do prefer subs but i would enjoy watching clannad dubbed if it was done pretty well

I've always thought it was strange that the native Japanese DVDs are like $30-40 bucks for one or two episodes and that over here it's $20-30 bucks for three or four ( not complaining or anything though ;) ). Now it's even more off.

I'm a fan of subs, but it's nice to have both :/

Damn it, Guys forget it. Its Subbed only >_> Damn this hurts me. this is why those Bastards are in the red zone. Damn it ADV Should just die and give Clannad to Bandai or FUNimation! well I was Hyped but now I feel like I was stabbed in the heart. I've seen Clannad subbed 5 times I wanted to watch it in a Different way. I should have know this was to good to be true. *Walks away with head down*

Ok I can't find a link to some of the Voice actors But I know one of the guys names cause i was trying to E-mail him to get information Christopher a yresva or something like that his E-mail address is christopherayresva@gmail.com it said to e-mail him to get information i tried and got no answer.

And Baby Naruto I am sorry to say but FAIL!!! Clannad is the best anime ever made. I don't know bout Princess Resurrection but show some respect my friend. I still will buy Princess Resurrection because it doesn't sound that bad so..
