Anime 'Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou' BD/DVD Vol.4 to Include Unaired Episode 14

According to the official website, the 4th BD/DVD volume of Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou, to be released on December 25, 2013, will contain an unaired 14th episode. The episode is titled "Fumikome nai Kokoro" (Impenetrable Heart).

I just realized that, well that gives me a relief, then I'm hoping that the 13th episode gives something that leads to a proper ending that gives questions to be answered in the 14th episode.

Possibly on a cliffhanger, but it could have a conclusive ending and the 14th episode being just an extra monster of the week deal or maybe an epic extra daemonia that's close to or stronger than what may be battled in the last few episodes.

I kind of hoping that it's a cliffhanger ending, if the 13th episode has a conclusive ending, wouldn't it be kind of strange to have them fight another daemonia considering how they're made. I'm just hoping that this 14th episode doesn't turn out to be a cheesy beach episode.

^ I could see why the series is not popular in Japan -- character design.. the slow-burning grimness.. the protagonist who can be hard to relate.. not to say a widespread feeling that it tries too hard to out-Madoka Madoka.. To me the sad thing is mainly how an original anime, which by its original nature means higher risk, has flopped badly.

It really saddens me that this series isn't really well acclaimed, by Japan and by MAL. This series is really good, but is rated so low. Well, I'm happy that we're getting at least this.

There are 7 volumes so I bet this ep. won't be a sequel even if they finish with open ending
