VA Honda Chieko Passes Away

Seiyu management office Aoni Production has announced on the official website that Honda Chieko passed away due to multiple cancer on February 18th. She was 49 years old. She played Ple and Ple Two in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.

rest in peace. she voiced kurumu's hot mom ageha in rosario + vampire capu 2 (which is one of my favorite anime/manga), meroko from fushigi yuugi (another one of my favorites), kurumi from kimaqgure orange road (another favorite), and kozue from Revolutionary girl utena, as well as tellu from sailor moon. she was a really talented voice actress, and i'm sad she passed. may you rest in peace. forever a legend in our hearts.

Another great voice actor passed away. While I haven't watched much, I'll always remember her as Puru and Ennil. She really had a great voice. I enjoyed the little of L-Gaim I watched mostly because of her role as Amu.

Sad news. She was a very talented seiyuu and I shall always remember her roles. She maybe no longer here, but I will never forget her.

If we were talking about normal people, yeah. But Japan is the country with the highest life expectancy, so 49 is, in fact, rather young for Japanese.
