This is not an anime. This is a panchinko machine.

I heard this was just a promo for a music CD, not an actual anime. I hope that isn't true.

guess I will give a try since it is shaft...

^ At least they have been adding pilot PVs and interviews at the official website. The most recent one (PV7) was added in April. So people may want to check that website from time to time for new contents.

I'm a sucker for Magical Girl type animes and this is looking like one, so I'm definitely going to give it a go.
I'd prefer if it wasn't like Madoka, but meh.

Wow, I've been waiting for this for a while. I'm looking forward to this.

The only information beside premise and PV staff that i heard is a pachinko machine with the same name 'Magical Suite Prism Nana TS' is being made, what to conclude from this is still uncertain (this project is either a pachinko machine promo or at least the pachinko company is involved).

That and fans were able to recognize Eri Kitamura's voice as the blue haired girl (shocker!)

A K-On mahou shoujo would be nice.

I prefer it somewhere between Nanoha and Madoka, K-On is too laid back for me.

The lack of any real information on this show at this point is ridiculous. If Mr. Healing Writer shows up on the staff list I'm jumping ship.

The fact that any real production of this thing is stalled "till a certain other SHAFT production finishes" is pretty telling.

AT this point i am pretty much expecting Prism Nana to be nothing more than a viral marketing for Madoka 2(the same way H.Kojima did with MGS continuation being teased in viral marketing of a trailer of a fake game from a fake game company)

This will either be greatest thing ever (ala Madoka) or the worst thing ever(99% of the rest of magical girl genre) and frankly I STILL have no idea on which will it be.

in before Urobuchi Gen
But welllll.... 99% of remaining magical girls show are just way of selling toys to little girls (with older fans as some minority) - so comparing those with Madoka is not best thing to do (still one could do it with HeartCatch Precure, that one which Gen said he liked btw).
Different target group, therefore storytelling and plot.

I would just like it to be better than Nanoha or Madoka - there is not many adult-oriented MG shows so any of those is welcome as long as it's good.

Hence the 1%.

Nanoha is decent although its basically Gundam in disguise of mahou shoujo genre.

I am basically hoping that SHAFT wont' resort to creating a mindless pointless fanservice show(way too many of those around lately) and actually has some sort of a plan for this one. Currently it can go either way.

I love Mahou Shoujo, but I also hope this doesn't turn out to be (godly awesome) Madoka. A K-On mahou shoujo would be nice.

I'm kinda confused though... The character design looks different in the PVs? or are those really different characters?

And yes, I do know that there are 2 different directors working on each PV alternatively.

Every PV has an entirely different production staff, that includes character designers, directors, animators, etc.
