According to the official website, Suzuki, Daisuke's light novel "Onii-chan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankei nai yo ne" was announced to get an anime adaptation.

A manga adaptation of OniAi has been serialized in Comic Alive magazine since last October.

It's a dialogue heavy novel and strengths are on word-play, sentence structure (that distinguishes characters) and your standard LN serve of references etc.

I don't even think there will be much ecchi in it at all, what you get is a super energetic brocon sister that always says the wrong things, but is nevertheless very very cute.

Because of the above, the seiyuu choice will make or break this.

BULLSHIT.

I still really love this show though.

Gross over-exaggeration. I'm more likely to remember seeing an 'onii-chan' title than pretty much anything else because I tend to really dislike stuff focusing around that whole concept of incest, so that's probably why. And what I meant by "I've been seeing way too much onii-chan crap lately" was that I'd seen lots of 'onii-chan' games, anime and novel titles, etc... in the same week. From past and present. Yeah, it wasn't clear but it was more a comment to myself rather than another person so I didn't think it needed to be.

It was really just a passing comment with not much thought or reasoning put into it.
I'll admit calling it 'crap' was kinda uncalled for.

It's all to do with opinions. I personally think a lot of 'onii-chan' stuff are crap, and that's just what I think. You seem to dislike bakemonogatari and that's fine. I believe that the conversations in bakemonogatari are entertaining and not fake and silly- that's why I found it interesting. This isn't even about bakemonogatari anyway so there's no point in bringing it in.

Well, I like incest animes, and I was planning to see this, but according to the previous posts

If they're not, I'll pass. I've get enough of this step-sisters/ecchi/harem sh*t. (Look at KissXSis,Onii Chan no Koto..)

Well, I can't understand these people who say "Another incest anime" there are a few animes of this genre, and a very few of them are worth watching,also most of them are old (Look at Koi Kaze, Boku Wa Imouto)
If you want to see some good incest anime I'd suggest you Koi Kaze, Yosuga No Sora and Boku Wa Imouto ni Koi,There's also Aki Sora but it's only an ova, I appreciated the plot but consider that there's also a lot of sex scenes. Please avoid animes like KissXSis/Onii Chan no koto.

It's more like maybe one incest related title per season, if even that. That's maybe one show out of the many other series, OVA's, and movies that come out along with it. It's not like we're bombarded with them every season.

Most of the other incest related shows came out a few years ago, which I guess is pretty recent to some people? Who knows.

if you're watching this for the ecchi/harem/incest aspect, you're doing it wrong.

this series shine on the heavy dialogue, banter, puns, and comedy based interaction between characters (usually 1 vs 1). Its arc-liked, but plotless, style of comedic and sexual bantering rivals (or even better) than the monogatari series.

There are no settings, no actions, no movements. Just words words words. I am quite curious how the studio will handle the animation because otherwise, most of the scene would literally be 2 characters standing still talking all episodes long with few gestures and exaggerations here and there.
