Comments: This series is interesting with attractive style although towards the latest volumes begins to drag, spending 2-3 volumes on a single storyline. Its English release suddenly stopped at the 11th volume and a new release has yet to arrive, almost a year later... WTH? o_<;

Comments: This series is one of the most impressive I've read. The mangaka handles such a large cast of characters very well; they truly have their own personalities and plights, several have the complexity and motivations of real people with deep psychological problems.
Although this manga, at a glance, appears to be a shoujo manga I don't believe this series discriminates. It can be enjoyed by all ages and both genders.

Comments: This is an interesting manga with mangaka who obviously likes drawing fashion, but it stopped its publication for nearly a year before releasing volume 4. Still, I'm not sure if it will continue. Let's hope!
This is also a strange manga given the idea that the main character isn't as likable as its supporting cast. XD

Comments: I was a big fan in the beginning when the humor was light and the frogs were adorable. By the 11th volume, however, its begun to take itself too seriously and there are way too many human characters clogging up the panels. D:<

Comments: So slooooooow! I mean, its really interesting with numerous characters that you want to fall in love with, but the pacing is just agonizing, taking nearly 18 volumes to hit the plot point that began in volume 1.

Comments: Although the main character, Chii is cute and Hideki is well-meaning there is just something about the fairy-tale quality of this manga that prevents me from raving about it. The ecchi jokes are, well, funny and the art style is simple and attractive. CLAMP alludes to deeper themes besides love and allows the reader to ponder for themselves.

Comments: I would recommend this for the reader who is vaguely interested in yaoi or shounen-ai but hasn't taken the leap yet. The main character begins in that way too, a boy who finds himself first straight and then vaguely entertaining the idea that he may be becoming attractive to his classmate. There are many jokes in this manga and the ghosts stories themselves are interesting and fun.

Comments: This was a roller-coaster of a manga. The mangaka cleverly got us (the readers) feeling hot and cold about almost every character, adding layers of emotion and complexity to make them come alive. Who Hatsumi would end up with was the big finale that you would be anticipating from the first volumes. I disagreed with the ending of this manga, which is why is ceased to be in my top favorites.

Comments: One reason that I liked this manga was that I connected to it with my own love story. There is humor throughout and it rarely detours into a silly shoujo story. It remains real with its themes of growing up, becoming independent, and following your dreams.

Comments: I didn't like how the first volume was so utterly detached from the rest of the volumes to follow. On its own its an entertaining story, but I'm still miffed even now that they changed the direction of the manga with no notice.
The remaining volumes (2-5) is its own story, which is hard to keep interested in when the main character is so apathetic! The story shifts its focus several times between characters, I wasn't sure how I was suppose to feel sometimes.

Comments: The story is slow-paced but interesting, allowing us to accept the idea of "vampires" in this real-world take on the subject. There are themes of incest but there are also complex reasonings presented for it, unlike many other series who want us to simply accept the idea and leave it at that. The story is dark but urges you to continue reading, even though you have an understanding a happy ending isn't waiting.

Comments: Valkyrie Profile shares the same name as its video-game predecessor. The art is exquisite and the story follows (if a little loosely, to save length) the story arc of the video game, with some variations on scenes and an additional adventure we never saw in the game.

Comments: This is one of my favorite manga titles. Its mangaka, Setono Mizushiro is able to delve into the psychology of troubled students and expose them to us. The characters are sensitive and real. The story is one that anyone can relate. X-Day is in all of us.
