Like Vampire Knight, Record of a Fallen Vampire is about vampires with more human aspects. the main characters are very similar, vampire, vampire hunter ect. and the story line is good.

The main characters in both are extremely alike, in the sense that they are great & powerful beings regarded as Gods/Kings willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good of all beings, not just their own kind.

These two manga are so alike to the point that the story is absolutely amazing. Record of Fallen Vampire is about a vampire king name Strauss who had abandon and destroy his own kingdom. Code Geass is about a disowned prince name Lelouch vi Britannia who has a deep hatred for his birth empire. In both manga, it talks about how both main character have to use their mind, strength, and sheer will power to obtain their goal. They both have a lonely role where they are always in the position of losing someone they loved. The role that is known as "The King". Both the main  read more

Both stories are heavily character focused showcasing the many interactions and relationships where a reader it able to identity each characters opinion of each other. The plot of both also involves factions of supernatural beings, showcasing their unique worlds and culture. Where the story goes to slowly divulge the history of events and truth behind characters past. Both carry a very similar vibe and are highly recommended for fans of supernatural and fantasy-like stories with big focus on character relationships.

Yagami Light and Strauss Akabara are very similar in how they are always trying to out maneuver everyone with really well-thought out strategies. Except Strauss is also an immortal Vampire, and is powerful enough he doesn't need a book to kill people with.

The main characters are very much alike; they are smart and have a complicated pasts. Both stories are interesting and full of mystery.

Same author, same grandiose atmosphere shrouded in mystery, filled with questions waiting to be answered. Both stories introduce and slowly build up a cast made up of allies and former enemies who team up to stop *that* which threatens the destruction of humanity. Both series have characters that use magic to fight.

Both manga series has supernatural themes involving vampires. The main protagonist from both series has a similar personality and are quite independent. In both series, there is some inklings of romance but most of it is plot driven by past events. These events reoccurs throughout some chapters that brings tension to the characters' minds and drives them to seek their ambitions. Both manga series also has bits of action, drama, and psychological themes.

Fantasy adventures taking place with a colorful cast of characters. Vampire Juuikai and Nanatsu no Taizai takes events from the past that has profound influences in the present and future. The main male protagonist has unique gifts that are both feared and respected in both series. There is a great deal of story development that connects with various sub-plots and characters. Relationships dynamics also become a focus through character interactions. If you are looking for an epic adventure, then take these two into account.

Both are spooky themed vampire stories with suspense in it as well as a dash of mystery and also nice art and character designs too.

The way their plots go is similar, some of the things you're told at the beginning are lies. You have no idea what you're getting into. Half your time reading them will be spent with a big *WHAT!?* expression on your face. xD
reportRecommended by Sundog
Both are based around vampires as well as having quite a bit of twists in it as well too and also a spooky gothic atmosphere around it too.
reportRecommended by Disapeared_Ghost
Characters in both stories pretend to be evil in order to save somebody. "Smargs won't Sing" is a one-shot, though.

Record of a fallen vampire and rebirth are very alike plot wise but different enough to make each a great read, in fallen vampire the vampire king journeys to break seals to free his wife and in rebirth the vampire journeys to get more power. Both if these story's have a deep revenge plot with tons of character information. All in all if you liked one you will like the other.

They both have vampires and involve a time span of centuries. The protagonist travels to find a women named Kuromitsu like how Akabara looks for his queen

Firstly, both of these mangas are supernatural and both of them talk about one type of force trying to kill the "evil guy" then finding out that evil guy isn't actually evil but a good guy (vampire king in RFV and demon king in GNY). Then there's the unraveling of the past and all the hidden secrets. Also, stella is similar to rice and bridget is similar to beat(to an extent).

Both are great mangas with the vampire theme related to sci-fi (vampires came from space). Both have outstanding action scenes and a awesome plot, where the main guy is a very old vampire that has huge terrifying powers but hides them and hides his painful past behind a smile and a gentle clumsy personality. He also wants to protect humans and vampires no matter what and tries to make them coexist in peace. Also, the woman he deeply loved died in the past.

Although the plot is totally different, both have a main girl [Machika/Kayuki] which main goal is to kill the main protagonist[Strauss/Rain]that is an immortal guy, very nice and talkative although he has a dark past and he´s very powerful. Also in both there is character that desperately wants to find peace and so he wants to die[Yuca/Strauss]. A character who made a terrible mistake and killed many humans[Yuca/Adelheid], and both plots deal with a circle of endless reincarnation[Spirit of Methuselah/ Black Swan] that everytime it dies, reincarnates again in a new body [Kayuki/Yuca].

Both manga are very plot-driven Vampire manga that focus on the dark and complex pasts of the protagonists. Also, both manga have subtle romance that play a bigger role as the plot progresses. However, Omae ga Sekai o Kowashitai Nara offers a very realistic approach to vampires while Vampire Juuji Kai is serious twist to magical fantasy vampires.
