When I started reading it, I got really into it, it showed promise...
Summary: Nene wants to be cute in the eyes of boys and Jun offers to help (Jun being her friend). You can tell right away that there is attraction between them but then in walks Izume, Jun's first love....
Izume's character was so well defined that in less than 1 chapter of meeting her I wanted to throttle her. So she get's props for knowing how to press your buttons. If you like at it from a story telling perspective, g=her characters was probably the one that makes you feel the most, but it's not good feelings.
Nene is a strong female lead (literally) but she lacks self esteem, which you notice right away. other than that, it was a fun read.
Jun, was either here or there, weather about what to eat for dinner or which girl he liked. Frankly I hated the ending because of how it turned out but hey to each their own.
The art of the manga (8). There's nothing that I noticed was wrong or weird and this was a pretty fast read. read more

=STORY= 8/10
There was't anything really special or unique about the story, but i did enjoy it alot. vary cute. kinda like a short story of Koukou Debut, but not quite as good. (but it might could have been as good, if there where more chapters)
The main thing I liked was how Nene did't give up on the guy she loved and how in the end, she was the one who come and throwed Jun over her shoulder and told the other girl he was hers.(its usely the guy that dose that, so thats why its kinda cool.) That was a nice twist on a shojo manga. I think it was a vary refreshing read. I reccomend it to anyone who likes Koukou, mangas with tough-guy-ish girls, or just shojo manga. =)

The art was not bad at all. In fact it was nicely done. and easy to read.
If there where more chapters, I would diffidently read them.
=Character=
The charcters where easy to understand and had there own intresting personality. It was enjoyable watching them act with each other and show there fellings. ^^

Very similar type of plot.
very similar plot .... where the main girl try to find love but doesn't know what to do, how to dress and got a help from a guy who she later fall in love with.
you get the same feelings when reading both mangas
1. both of the girls were athletes in middle school and want to be girly in high school and get the help of the main guy for fashion advice
2. the main guy and girl are super close and comfortable when together; they have very good chemistry :)
3. plot is very similar though Koukou Debut is longer while Otomegokoro is shorter
bith are good reads :) i KNOW you will enjoy one if you read the other
