First time writing a review, I just had to write one after finding out this manga somehow scored a 7.53 on this site.
Story:
He tries to tell compelling stories and some would be pretty good if he didn't have such a short amount of time to tell his story. At most, the longest story I've read in this manga was 6 pages. 6 pages to tell a story, build up the tension and make us care about the characters. 6 freaking pages.
At their best the stories are kinda interesting, at their worst they're just laughable. No joke, there was a story
...
where there's this poster of a woman with a shit eating grin just hanging there. This guy notices the qr code at the bottom of the poster and scans it with his phone, it doesn't work. Then he realizes everything on his phone has been erased. That's it. That's the horror story.
tldr; Stories are too short and lack sustenance. They are also sometimes cool but sometimes dumb.
Art: A lot of horror manga is dependent on the art style, and it clearly shows here. The humans are drawn decently, nothing special about them jumps out. The monster/creatures however, are drawn very crudely. Which is strange because the artist seems to be able to draw everything else fine, its just the monsters look weird. Might be a stylistic choice, but it still looks dumb.
Characters: I feel like its unfair to write about the characters cause they're just one shots. 6 page horror manga one shots. So there really any character or character development.
Enjoyment/Overall?: This manga is bad, but its kind of entertaining. I'm still reading this manga to this day, kinda hoping it'll get a little better along the way. These were just my thoughts along the first 30 chapters. I'm pretty sure that there are people who think I just don't understand the genius behind this manga and honestly they might have a point. Maybe these stupid stories are supposed to end abruptly, and I just can't comprehend the horrors of having everything on your phone erased because of a stupid qr code you scaned. But nonetheless, if you enjoy stupid things like b movies or garzeys wing, you might like this manga.
