This right here is what we call “Peak” ladies and gentlemen. This manga is the pinnacle of quality, not just in the shoujo genre, but in all genres in the entire medium of manga!

The storytelling has “Berserk” levels of depth to it, with characters so fleshed out that you’ll think you’re actually close with them irl after you’ve finished reading.

The art style is reminiscent of the greats, like “One Punch Man” and any of Uziga Waita’s early works. In other words, this manga radiates with sheer beauty and charm that I’m sure anyone would fall for.

The best part is that it’s a oneshot, ... but clearly outclasses all mangas by comparison. If you don’t believe me, read this shi- I mean read this masterpiece for yourself, and experience the enlightenment that me and others like “MadaMada” have been shown my brothers and sisters!

If this was written as satire, it is one of the funniest ones ever written. If not, it is the laziest story ever made. The plot is non-existent, the characters literally not even having names. Our protagonists literally randomly bump into each other and immediately decide to get married. This sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. They literally just look at each other and it's like they're being mind-controlled into marriage for literally no reason whatsoever. The mangaka of this ones-shot has written several series that seem to have at least decent reviews, which would make it strange for her to write this on ... an absolute whim. I can only conclude it is a ridiculously and absurdist mockery of Shojo in the same way "Destroy!" by Scott McCloud is for Dark Age superhero comics. In that case, it deserves a 10/10

To be totally honest, I'm a bit too confused to review this story. I must admit, I only picked it up because of the extremely low score that was shown, so it sparked my curiosity, so I wanted to see if it was really so bad.
The thing is... it was so hilarious! It assembles all the worst cliches present in the shoujo genre in less than twenty pages, so it should be a parody, right?
But after consumming so many terrible shoujos, I can't know for sure...
Anyway, it's only around 20 pages long, so if it is meant to be a parody poking fun at the ... worst elements of the genre, it's quite entertaining.
