Both of these harem manga deal with simple island life and also have amazing artwork. ^_^

IO and Elfen Lied both deal with a main character who like kouta, suffers amnesia...he moves into a certain town and winds up living with a bunch of girls....a history of dead parents......there's alot of ecchi...and also the elements of incest and love triangles. falling in love with a girl while courting and taking care of another girl ...shibuki the jealous love interest like Yuka....mio like lucy a special girl with a stoic nature who the mc courts and takes care of..like kouta and nyu!.....

Both manga are about the supernatural mysteries of the ocean. Kaijuu no Kodomo take a more serious approach where as IO has romance and a bit of comedy. Although the art in Kaijuu no Kodomo is more detailed both series has really nice art of the underwater sceneries. Both are great reads with deep stories.

both are about scuba diving, although IO is more about mystery and supernatural while Amanchu is lighter and more fun to read

Both series are about diving. There is some similarities with the MC like he is childhood friend with the main heroine and her sister(s). Also the main heroine is somewhat cold but gives affection at some points.
