These series are similar because it's a love story that started in neighboring dormitories. Just like Bijo ga Yajuu, the heroine in Promise also became friends with the cold delinquent-like male lead (which, sooner or later, will develop into romance). The other characters, such as their roommates, have interesting personalities as well.

both are very well drawn manwha stories of developing love though very different in every other aspect I feel that I f you like one then the chances are good you will also like the other.
