Fantasy world (1/2 prince is in a game though), bendering them genders, fighting, and drama stuff (like getting all familiar with people who might be considered enemies).

Both are about a virtual reality game.

Both Manhua fall under the virtual reality MMO (VRMMO) category. Yureka leans more towards the action adventure features of what you might find in a MMO, while 1/2 Prince comes with the addition of romance.

Half Prince is written by the same author. The sarcastic humour is very similar and it also has a lot of adventure.

Accel World: 9 1/2 Prince: 9 Both basically a virtual reality fighting game with romance in between the fighting. Amazing art work on both parts, 1/2 Prince a bit more light hearted and all in good fun, but intense at times. Both are 9's almost hitting 10 part, depending on their endings. Accel has an incredible amount of potential in it as you begin to learn, like 1/2 Prince they gain great comrades and  read more

These two excellent series have a lot in common: good humour, original plot, romance that is not suffocating, strong heroines and action happening in another world.
reportRecommended by as3
Both have the RPG-like aspects, and are both funny yet serious, with plenty of action in between.
reportRecommended by awesomecakes
Both of these are amusing manhua with fantasy themes and similar art.
reportRecommended by kasumisama
The main character poses as a man in both mangas and are looked up to as a leader figure because of their courage and excellent fighting skills.

Doulou Dalu and 1/2 Prince offers a vast amount of fantasy themes and world fiction with their premises. Although their settings are different, they build a lot on with the type of magic and powers that are explored in their story. The main protagonist are also eager to prove themselves as we see their progress. Both series are also known for its colorful character cast including a dominant female MC. Expect an adventurous tale that really takes advantage with its ideas.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both mangas have a strong female who cross dresses as a boy and gains respect as a leader in the eyes of the people around them. Both mangas are extremely funny.
reportRecommended by anayardz
Both are written by Yu Wo, has the same feel and aura to it. Both are extremely funny if you're up to the comedy factor. Both are also in novels.
reportRecommended by mzpasaway13
Both have very different plots and ideas, 1/2 Prince takes place in a MMORPG like game in a futuristic setting, while Fullmetal Alchemist has nothing to do with games or futuristic technology, and takes place in a world where Alchemy is more than just chemistry, but instead a power that allows those talented to create and destroy things. So how are they similar, you might be asking? Both are pretty fast paced, making you want to read them in one setting. They have very involved plots with deep themes which you can either ignore and just enjoy reading, or you can read deeper into them. Fullmetal  read more

Overlord and 1/2 Prince takes place in a virtual realm separate from reality. And in their world, there are a lot of possibilities for its world development. Both adventurous series follows a MMORPG style where magic, swordsplay, and mystical artifacts being prominent as part of the story. The main characters from both series has a rather unique presence with their chosen avatars. If you're looking forward to something that connects virtual fiction with a story and colorful cast of characters, then check these two titles out.

Both stories include RPG elements (though 1/2 prince takes place mostly in an RPG while in WCC the protagonist has RPG relevant powers). Both protagonists are a little ditzy, but still heroic.
reportRecommended by athenacat
These are both about Gender bending, guy into girl, girl into guy. Cheeky Angel gets a little more deep than 1/2 Prince, while 1/2 Prince has more comedy, but im not saying Cheeky Angel didnt have it! Both are really funny mangas.
reportRecommended by ixfrogs
Both are set in a fantasy world. "1/2 Prince" is about both the real world and game world. "Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami" is about a girl getting reborn into an Otome Game as the villianess and avoids her fate and uses her old world knowledge to better the land her father hands to her.

Another reality, another game. Beautiful manga about an adventurer who's always looking for some 5-th spot type trouble.
reportRecommended by susan00
It's similar in terms of rpg though 1/2 prince is about a warrior while Isekai is about a healer Both female mc are strange and new to the mmorpgs that they play

The main character switch genders in a game that is suppose to follow their real gender.

"1/2 Prince" and "Dusk Howler" are action comedy shounen stories that follow the adventures of an androgynous protagonist in a fantasy virtual game. Feng Lan in "1/2 Prince" is a girl who plays as a male character with the in-game name Prince, while Kim Jee-Ha in "Dusk Howler" is a guy who plays as a male character with the in-game name Jaiha, but Jee-Ha has a very feminine appearance and personality, so Jaiha is also very feminine. These stories are very similar to each other. Tough Guy: Prince / Mori. Harem Queen: Prince / Jaiha. Trap: Prince / Naehn. Gay: Gui / Nine. Masochist: Gui  read more

!/2 Prince is a lighthearted comedy of a girl playing a VRMMO, the similarity is that its in a fantasy game world
reportRecommended by Thedudeist
They both contain gender bender plus the male lead falls in love first
reportRecommended by sakura1414
This is a another manga involving a game like setting but much more serious. A young man is forced into a game of survival and forced to kill. If you enjoy blood and gore, then go for it.
reportRecommended by Shirayuki76
Similar themes of swords, magic, adventure and teams fighting off against each other to get to the top. The only difference being that 1/2 Prince is set in a virtual world and Dark Air in a fantasy world.
reportRecommended by Hat-and-Clogs
Both involve game worlds. But "1/2 Prince" is about both the real world and game world, while "Seichou Cheat de Nandemo Dekiruyou ni Natta ga, Mushoku dake wa Yamerarenaiyou desu" is about a guy getting stuck in the game world as his female character.
reportRecommended by popcorncoral
Both manga gives the same feelings, also have male character fall in love with protagonist. Though 1/2 Prince is a female protagonist which is use male as the current gender, then Bara no Maria is a protagonist which the gender is still unknown.
reportRecommended by Ruzu
Both players are in an online world that is like reality.
reportRecommended by Ksiousha
One is about the future, the other about the past, but the two female leads are very similar - strong, fearless and energetic and they both pretend to be men. Plus both series are funny and refreshingly different
reportRecommended by as3
They both are about people in a virtual reality game
reportRecommended by RedBardIsCool
Both have strong female characters; and the stories focus on action and adventure as well as romance. Both are unique and characters show very good character development.
reportRecommended by noobzilla
1/2 Prince is more humorous, but in both, the girl takes on an identity of a man to fight.
reportRecommended by as3
In both, charismatic and strong girls are masquerading as guys, the stories are different, but both are uniquely interesting and have a similar feel and humor
reportRecommended by as3
Both have a similar feel and it's not just in the humor and fantasy category but also in the ...er... cross-dressing aspect? Well, they both involve a girl turning into a dude...sort of.
reportRecommended by Deep
The stories are very different, but both are funny gender benders where an interesting girl defies traditional female stereotypes
reportRecommended by as3
so, the stories have nothing in common, but they are both unique, funny and have romance that is not suffocatingly-sweet. plus, both female characters are unique and never do what's expected of them.
reportRecommended by as3
Well, they are both about girls mistaken for guys, and they are both really strong fighters. They also both involve "other worlds". A little romance. Saver is more serious though.
reportRecommended by ossie19
even though one is about PC game and other is about High Fantasy they still feel similar in some ways, monsters, magic and so on.
reportRecommended by Torff
they have the same author and are both really great novel (1/2 prince has a manhua but i don't think eclipse hunter has one) but really try find translated version of these two novel (if you dont know how to read chinese) and have a good read what i like best about them is their comedy and characters, the main characters both stand out/ different from the rest of the people in the story. :)
reportRecommended by maiyumi
they both have the same feel to them they are both adventure like and traveling to diff places (magico in a fantsy world 1/2 prince in vieo game) they both have a CUTE feeling about them that makes you squeel like a little girl both romance action adventure seriously if you lik one you'll like the other . . . trust me you NEED to read one or the other XD

In 1/2 Prince the romance centers around guys falling for a girl disgusted as a guy. In 'Love Stage' a guy falls for another guy who was dressed as a girl. Both mangas are really funny and thrive on the comedy. Both have great art ranging from Chibis to very detailed. I found both stories gripping that kept me hooked. Even if you don't normally read Yaoi Love Stage has nice romance and i well worth the time.

The biggest similarity is the Hot Blonde Elfy main character (except in Ubel Blatt it is in fact a hot blonde elf, not a girl on a computer game pretending) who loves fighting and uses a sword and whatnot and becomes known in their respective world as 'That Hot Blonde Elf Thing Who Is Epic At Fighting' (way more complecated than that in Ubel Blatt but thats the basic jist i guess). Both are in fantasy worlds. Ubel Blatt is a lot more violent and has some explicit sex stuff, and has a more complicated story line and characters. I guess a way more seinen-y version  read more

Whether its the manga or the novel, Log Horizon is sure to remind you of 1/2 Prince, the plots both involve gaming worlds and although the tension derives from different plot devices, the similarities in comedy and fantasy elements such as life within a game are sure to hook you in to Log Horizon if you loved 1/2 Prince
reportRecommended by potaisbest441
1/2 Prince is set in a vdeo game kind of theme, but both have medieval themes with magic and action. Both cross dress in order to hide there idenity.
reportRecommended by -Zekkai-
I think anyone who is a fan of 1/2 Prince would enjoy this manga. Although not as light hearted as 1/2 Prince and no crossdressing from what I've seen so far. These mangas are similar in the fact that there is a hero virtual reality or not that fights foes goes on adventures with a group of friends, fall in love and grow together.
reportRecommended by -Zekkai-
durrr there both based off vidya gamez it only shows xxxx which was horribly rushed and different from the 3 original games. meaning it sucks but check out some of the other .hack titles cuz there good. Tip: Don't recommend sequels or other related series i just ignored that tip dont givashit. some .hack char are girls irl but guys in the game same with 1/2 prince
