Synopsis

Satou Tatsuki, a class troublemaker, gets his motorcycle license and takes his genius best friend, Morisawa Kai, for a ride. They get into an accident and Morisawa dies instantly. However, Morisawa wakes up at the hospital inside the body of a girl who was taken in for alcohol poisoning. His relationship with Tatsuki begins to take on a whole new level as he deals with the changes in his body and other soul which inhabits it.

Hello!

I noticed that this series didn't have any reviews and thus decided to write one. I just read "Return" yesterday and really enjoyed it. I found the romance sweet, but there wasn't much depth to the story. It's a light read, and is good as such. What lowered the score for me is the ending. I really really didn't like the ending AT ALL and it pretty much knocked everything down a level. That ending was just horrible.

I don't like dropping series. I really don't. One of the things that I found interesting about this series was the nature of the relationship between Kai, the boy trapped in a girl's body, and his friend Tatsuki. I enjoyed it at first, but it got transphobic pretty quickly, and also managed to get some homophobia in there as well. Tatsuki kept telling Kai that he wasn't a boy anymore, and it didn't matter if he was on the inside because your biological sex determines what you are. He said this meant he wasn't gay and that Kai is a lesbian. That's around the time ...
