Synopsis

The synopsis about 'beautiful creatures' and the stunning artwork on the cover gave me high hopes for this manga.
It's too bad I just can't seem to get into this story, even after reading it twice.
I disliked the fact that the story starts of too slow, that it became boring. With a slow story like that, it' get's hard to find a likeable character.

What I did like about this manga was the AMAZING artwork, however I'm afraid that's just not enough to make me buy the second volume.

this manga is indescribably beautiful. I found myself really in love with Ichijo after I read this and I really understood him. several of my friends where completely thrown off when I recommended it and didn't take me seriously until they actually read it. It's a breathtaker, truely [:

Alichino and Tengu Onmyoudou contain beautiful, fantasy-themed art. Both manga have detailed character designs. Tengu Onmyoudou even has the seemingly lost art of elaborate, well drawn backgrounds that truly illustrates the story's setting. Alichino's characters have a slightly odd "doll" look to them while Tengu Onmyoudou has a less "shoujo-esque" style with stronger jawlines and bulkier male bodies. Both are great examples of unique art styles.
