SynopsisThe year is 200X and everyone is now connected to the Cyber Network. People carry their own PET (Personal Terminal) and are paired up with an artificial intelligence program called a NetNavi (or NetNavigator). Computers have turned the world into a bright and shiny utopia but there's always trouble in paradise. While the invention of the PET and NetNavis has brought great benefits to the world, computer hacking, virus spreading and other high-tech crimes are becoming a major problem. A sinister organization by the name of World Three has appeared and they've vowed to destroy this technological wonderland. Enter our young hero, Lan Hikari, an intensely curious and cheerful fifth grader. Synchronized with his NetNavigator, MegaMan, he becomes a super-charged dynamo. In and out of the Net, Lan and MegaMan do their best to thwart World Three's never-ending quest to take over the world!

If you are familiar with the megaman battle network series, you will enjoy the manga based off it. The story follows the game in the begining , then changes to a whole different storyline, this is good for readers who played the game before the manga because they cant predict whats going to happen next. The art is decent, a lot of detail goes into the netnavi characters. The characters are not what you see in the games, they have more personality and are developed more. This manga may seem like its geared toward kids but once you read it, its a manga for everybody, if you want humor, there it is, if you want action, there you go, if you want blood, suprisingly thats there too, and so on. Its a very easy manga to enjoy if youre a megaman fan, if youre not a megaman fan, give this manga a try anyway. read more

Both have kids fighting with single partners in a virtual world. Both "fights" are seen as games until the main protagonist is seen as something special, which makes the initial "game" more interesting to the reader.
At some point in both, you just feel like they have a lot of similarities, even down to the character niches.
