Similar historical setting - with lots of battles, martial arts and politics - Sengoku is in the time in Edo period with Odo Nobunaga. The art is quite good and sometimes a bit similar and the portrayal of characters is unusual too showing good and bad aspects of the different warriors and leaders.

Even though ''Vinland Saga'' is about Vikings, and ''Vinland'' is way more serious, in some scenes ''Sengoku'' battles give off the same ''vibe''.
