Both have people with psychic powers aiding police officers to solve hardcore crimes. In particular, both of these series have very interesting and complex criminal investigations and a hint of romance.
Both are great paranormal crime dramas where people with some sort of psychic ability aids the police in solving well conceived, realistic crimes. Psychometrer Eiji is a bit more to script, with the only paranormal elements being Eiji's Psychometry, or ability to see visions when touching objects. SID is a little more fantastical, with action and shamanism, but still has very realistic crime situations, with the main character being a police detective before he's anything else. Both great reads, if you like one, check out the other.
Both are mystery/horror manga being solved through the use of some psychic powers. In Psychometrer Eiji's case it's a high school delinquent with a heart of gold who has psychometry, the ability to see visions when he touches an object. In Kurosagi Coorpse Delivery Service it's various college students, one of which who can dowse for the dead and another who can hear their voices. One major difference is that in Psychometrer Eiji, Eiji works with the police to solve crimes, and in Kurosagi, the students work outside the law to fulfill the corpse's dying wishes, which often has to do with the way they died. Despite their differences both include a perfect mix of more light-hearted comedy, great characters, and serious, dark and grisly murders to be solved. Both have a great deal of realism, and are very interesting reads, and despite their differences have enough in common that if you like one you should check out the other.
These both are mangas about people attempting to solve mysteries. There are lots of references to studies done in the para sciences and the supernatural is approached from a logical viewpoint. Also, in both stories there are characters who have some sort ofl power that is helpful towards uncovering the truth. Expect equal parts horror and comedy.
Both stories involve psychopathic characters and cat and mouse game between the protagonists and antagonists. Psychometer Eiji deals with a lot of serial murders and other intriguing cases. The main character in both series have a special power (Raito has the Death Note while Eiji has the power of psychometry).
Both series deal with psychotic murderers with twisted desires. Interestingly, both series present them as monsters with deformed faces as a caricature and reflection of their crime. However, while Majin Tantei haa short and predictable case, Psychometer Eiji has much more serious and unpredictable cases. Both protagonists (Neuro and Eiji) have special powers although Eiji's is more realistic (psychometry).
Both manga focusing on solving mystery and detective skill. But while Ayatsuri Sakon involve deduction skill in soving the crime, Psychrometer Eiji invovle supernatural power .
