Very enjoyable manga which encompasses the problem of delinquency, and offers a solution to it in a bit more violent manner -- through a special teachers program established by the government.
Violence is the main focus in this piece, and it isn't obscure as usual, but completely vivid, albeit on some parts a bit superfluous.
What makes this manga unique are KT's disciplinary methods, and his ways of mortifying students via hilarious manners, of which all epitomize the word extreme.
The only reproach I have is the sudden turn-around somewhere around the middle -- where the main plot gets neglected, and instead of dedicating to overall delinquency, it focuses on one individual -- not completely obtrusive, albeit different approach would be more commendable.

I liked the beginning of kamen teacher. It was a good read at first and I was dieing for more, but then I got more... and I realized why the scanlators were being slow.
The first part of Kamen teacher introduces us to a delinquent high school where the students have gotten completely out of hand. Araki Gota and kamen teacher are hired to deal with it as specialists. Well Araki sends all of his students to the gym and have a fight with "Kamen Teacher". Kamen Teacher drives around on a vespa and beats up all of the students with kick ass martial arts. Then he shaves them bald. I found this absolutely hilarious and I recommend you guys read it too.
Then it gets dull. All of a sudden kamen teacher wants to investigate what made the school rotten so he stops bullying his students, and starts talking to parents and such to find out what happened. I thought this was a betrayal of the reason I started reading the manga so I dropped it there.
My recommendation is simple, read the first 15 chapters maybe closer to 20 I don't remember, then drop the manga. When he starts his investigation it drops the comedy genre and goes into a slice of life genre... There was never much of a story to get into so you don't have to worry about getting hooked. read more

If you like Kamen Teacher, then you must read the legendary Great Teacher Onizuka, and shame on you if you haven't already. Created also by Tohru Fujisawa, GTO offers the same humour and obscure teaching methods used in Kamen Teacher.
A comedy manga about teaching from the same mangaka.
Well to start the art is pretty much identical if you put them side by side. Though Kamen Teacher starts out more a little more fast paced than GTO they both capture the same humor and action from Shonen manga that we know all and love. Also, both main characters have a love for catalog woman always end up dealing with erotic and perverted situations.
Not only are both the product of mangaka Fujisawa Tohru, the main protagonists are similar in every detail. On one hand you Onizuka Eikichi, a former motorcycle punk who decides to become a teacher and helps his students overcome their issues. Then you have Hayato Juumonji, a substitute teacher who takes on the guise of Kamen Teacher, a masked, motorcycle riding martial arts expert who beats his lessons into his troubled students.
Kamen Teacher is basically a clone of GTO. They come from the same author. Idea is the same and humor works on the same level.

Both revolve around scarily strong teachers who are targeted by their students.
Both titles have main characters who motivates the students by being a target they must defeat in battle. Of course, they are much too powerful to be defeated by the students, and seizes the opportunity to improve the students grades
