FLCL (Manga)

FLCL is a very odd... and strangely entertaining comedy manga. Well, actually, sometimes the manga isn't comedy at all, and can be quite serious. Or just weird. Yeah, mostly weird.

The story is not the best part of FLCL... many things make no sense, and it may seem incomplete to some. However, the story is original and unique, which will keep it's score at a six. From killing your father to having things pop out of the main character's head at random, this is quite the story, despite all the MAJOR down sides...

The art is unique. Very unique. It may seem sloppy at first, but once you get used to it it's almost amazing. It has style, originality, and it matches FLCL perfectly.

The "character" is pretty well done. Most characters have a good personality, and have their faults. There are a lot of characters as well, including a varied cast of side-characters such as Naota's grandfather.

I actually really enjoyed the FLCL manga. It has comedy, dramatic scenes, and action, all wrapped into one weird, whacky and insane manga. It gives you a good feeling after every read, and makes you think "What a good book." Or maybe, to some people, "What the hell?" as you sit back down and have a good laugh. Overall, this manga is one good read. Please try it out.

FLCL, not much I can say about this other than it is my life, my bible, my faith, my passion, it is everything to me... I would sell my house before I would sell this manga...

The Anime is better, but the Manga brings me so many memories, and influenced me much like the Anime did, that the past few years, basically everything I've done in my life revolves around Anime, FLCL was the first series I completed, and opened a whole new world...

The Manga is nothing like the Anime, but each houses a unique and excellent style filled with perversion that taught me a lot while growing up...

This is the best Anime ever made, and I give it a perfect score, because anything less would be an insult to this masterpiece...


Sorry about being biased... I just have to be when one series changes several years of my life so much... It gets me emotional in ways... read more
