SynopsisAizen Kanou, just like any high-school boy, yearns for a girlfriend. But he's so painfully shy he flees when any girl tries to talk to him. Except his childhood friend, Yuzu, who scolds him for being so shy. But she leaves behind a temple love-charm. That night in his room Kanou uses the charm to demand heaven grant him his wish for a beautiful girl. When he wakes up in the morning, he finds his wish has been granted--and the beautiful girl is himself.

In both manga's the main character turns in a girl.
However in Akane-chan Overdrive the main character dies and gets a female body, in Kanaete Aizen he get it alive.

Oct 17, 20082 of ? chapters read 3 of 8 people found this review helpful Though this is a very short story only being 2 chapters long, but I did enjoy it, when i started reading it i wasnt expecting much, i just aimed to see what it was about.
You learn enough about the main 2 characters, and I personally enjoyed the theme, I thought it was nice.
There was hardly any romance inside it other then Kanou finding out who he loves, but after reading it, I think that it doesnt matter that there is hardly any romance, it works well in the story....
If you enjoy short storys with small romance I would suggest this, even though its very short I'm glad i read it because it was sweet.
Also if the fact it says its "Ecchi" in the genres starts to make you wonder not to bother reading, I can clearly say the Ecchi-ness is very low and shouldn't be worried about. read more

Sep 24, 20082 of ? chapters read 2 of 11 people found this review helpful It was very short yet it had so much story. I felt connected with the characters right away. The art is very nice and the story plot is superb. It's a shame that is was only two chapters but despite that, the characters were well rounded for what little amount was given to them.
