Love Hina (Novel)

This is actually the only book (Or novel in this case) I've fully enjoyed to read, instead of falling half-asleep in my bed and getting bored to death. This is just so much fun.

This novel is almost like the Manga, with all the classic genres: Misunderstandings, problembs, nudity, sex jokes, rape talk, etc. And that's the fantastic thing here. If you ever wondered how Love Hina would be if it was a little bit more "sexed-up", then this novel series is the right choice for you.

It starts as everybody tries to undress Keitaro. First Suu and Sara at the night, then Kitsune at the bathroom, and finally Naru in her room. I can't tell why, but what Keitaro thinks is much more serious than this really is about.

You actually get to go into Keitaro's mind and listen to all his thoughts and meanings of everything, unlike the Manga and Anime. And wow, he has a much more dirtier mind than I thought he had! Also, the novels tends to be much more dirtier than everything Love Hina you've seen before! In one scene, Kitsune actually took his and and followed it under her naked kimono, where her... Okay, I won't go too far.

The story in this novel was also very interesting, since it's basicly about one thing, but this "One" thing is still seperated in 2 chapters with two different stories. It may sound confusing, but they merge extremely good together. It also maked sense. And got a bit dramatic at the end too... wow. Some exclusives are here too, like the story about Haruka's mom, AND that she really is Keitaro's.... *Beeeeeep*

Anyway, a nice effect here is that the Anime script writer was writing this novel. So nobody was out of character, and they all acted like they would. The pictures in this book were all made by our dear Ken Akamatsu, so that should be an excuse enough to buy this. Even if there's only around 11 original (But big) pictures in this one, they are really well made. Best reason ever.

Also, beware that I am a Love Hina fans, so newcomers to the series may not find this novel so interesting after all. I've grown a custom to Keitaro, since my guess is that we're pretty much alike. So I just love to read about his weird life on the Hinata Inn. But, if you are a Love Hina fan, I am pretty sure you won't be dissapointed. This Novel was fantastic, and I am looking forward to reading the second one too. read more
