Story; 7
Four chapters, and an extra. The four chapters are about an overprotective father that won't let his daughter date men. The daughter is 17, and already has a serious relationship for a half year and wants her father to know and accept it. Boy isn't accepted > boy wants to be acknowledged > father is dj > boy wants to win dj contest > voíla, there you have an extraordinary story. I'd advise you not to read the extra though. It doesn't look like a follow up on characters from the first four chapters.

Art; 6
Mediocre. Many personages look like they want to look cool...

All together the story and enjoyment I would rate around 7.5, This would be due to the simple fact that the story was not horrible and in it's own way enjoyable. All at the same time it was all brought down to the main male lead trying to earn the proper recognition of his girlfriends father. Who just happens to have a extremly close relationship with his daughter almost a type of over protective complex. You will enjoy this if you like strong male leads, the art was nothing to fantastic but not horrible the characters were pretty good but nothing amazing so I rate read more

Both have romance, and main charecter is set on achieving a goal. In KouKou debut its about getting a boyfriend in Good Father its about becoming a good DJ for his girlfriends fathers approval.
Both are about a young man being drawn into a subculture because of the people close to him and having to take up a new skill. Because street dancing (23:00) and DJing (Good Father) are hard to portray in manga, they both rely on a number of methods to try to convey the characters' perception of events to the reader.
