Now, I am writing as a person who has not played any Warcraft game or World of Warcraft and who hasn't read any of the Warcraft novels, yet I picked up this manga because I liked the covers and the artwork looked okay. Not a very good reason on my part there, but I was overall satisfied with this 3 volume manga.

I have previously read all of Richard A. Knaak's Warcraft novels and I had high hopes that this duo might produce something totally mind staggering. My hopes were a little to high I think and after reading through the last manga in the trilogy... read more

I have played the Warcraft games and love both them and this series.
I really enjoyed the trilogy and is looking forward to more warcraft comics.
There is alot of story leading up to this story but it is a good introduction that describes the past leading up to the events of this book but to get the full enjoyment of it you should know alot more about the warcraft lore.
