If you enjoy blood, gore, action, sex, and lots and lots of death then these are the perfect series for you to check out.
Both follow the same concept of people being forced into a death game. Both are very graphic and gory with interesting story and characters, GANTZ is a little more supernatural with more nudity as well but above all both are very similar.
Both incredibly graphic and gory manga, with the concept of deadly survival games with a lot of killing involved. Whereas Gantz goes for the sci-fi approach, Battle Royale goes for realism. ^_^
both have lots of gore and sex. Battle Royale has a much better story
Both are violent, exciting, and carefully drawn. Both are based on the idea of an extreme TV show using unsuspecting members of the general public.
Characters fight to survive, and if they try to run away then a bomb goes off in their head. It has the same feeling of hopelessness that runs through Battle Royale, and while reading Battle Royale I was shocked at some of the similarities. If you like one then you will like the other.

I think of Psyren as the shonen-version of Gantz.
both series involve a "game" with real lives at stake set up by some mysterious person while the main character tries to beat the game for their freedom or other goals.
Good drawing, good story line. Similar to Gantz, they get teleported to a different world and have to fight unknown monsters
Same basis about being called to a different world where you have to fight monsters to survive. The only main difference is that Psyren is Shounen while Gantz is Seinen so obviously the graphics will be different.

If you like GANTZ you will love Highschool of the Dead (HOTD) as well. Both have a kick ass main character and tons of hot girls that somehow tie into the story plot. In GANTZ you follow a team of individuals as they are summoned on missions to kill off aliens, while given extremely powerful weapons. In HOTD you read as a group of high school students are forced to fend off zombies and fight for their lives, trying not to get bitten. As in GANTZ, HOTD is filled with blood and violence as the band of average individuals try desperately under circumstances they have never encountered before, resorting back to their primal instincts only to find that the world is a game of "survival of the fittest."
If you liked the whole fighting random aliens and creatures with some weird but amazing plot twists then you might like to try looking at High School of The Dead. Kids fighting zombies that appear out of the blue (not yet mentioned where they have come from). There is but one downside of High School of the dead vs Gantz. No amazing suits that give you extreme strength.

Both involve people in their teens being tossed into a life-or-death situation where the normal rules of society no longer apply.

Manga created by the same author. By the way they are illustrated and written, both are extremely fast reading mangas and you will notice that in just second you've read a lot of chapters.
Both has uncommon topics and the facts are shown in a way that keeps you sat for a while.

Both are about a group of characters who have to participate in a game for their survival. In Gantz survival is one of the main themes of the story, to survive the ruthless hunts and to hopefully return to the Gantz room alive. In Mirai Nikki, on the other hand, survival is sought in the hope of succeeding Deus Ex Machina and becoming God. Both display different reasons to survive but both both play on themes of survival.

If you enjoy the mystery and bloodshed that GANTZ has brought to the table, you'll enjoy La Mosca(The Fly) with a passion. Even now the GANTZ manga still provides mysteries to solve after several years of chapters and volumes but every good as the last, La Mosca has such potential to come out like GANTZ, both providing monsters to kill, prizes to earn, and hot deadly girls.

Scifi stories with horror elements. Both are thought-provokingly psychological and highly suspenseful with great drama and interesting storylines, and they both also contain deadly enemies and extreme violence.

In terms of violence and gore, Kurozuka seems to less exaggerated than Gantz. Although you are guaranteed to see guts flying in both cases. In terms of the narration, both story present a very unique and experimental style. Gantz having to constantly changing the characters while Kurozuka constantly time jumps (2 first volumes already cover a few thousand years). Both have this mysterious supernatural plotline well hidden along the action.

Both are mangas that deal with games that play with life and death. Both have characters who are killed then revived to fight in a "game" of life. Battles with monsters determine whether you will be able to live the next day or not. Though, GANTZ deals with a lot of sci-fi idealogies, including technology and 'aliens'.

both contain extreme violence and people just trying to survive in the situations they find themselves

Similar plots Gantz is more supernatural and the enemies are aliens but beyond that it's like a mirror to Doubt.

the whole supernatural thing is similar. they just seem to have the same kinda vibe.

Both have violent but cool fighting scenes and even some sex together with interesting stories. Beserk follow a medieval fantasy world while Gantz is set in alternate present cyberpunk. Both main characters are also affected by unknown forces.

I dont know what people think of Hellsing and Gantz but to put them both in a nut shell. gore, more gore, and destruction. Hellsing is a Alucard killing off his own kind (vampire) and Gantz is a group of people killing aliens. Both have very detailed story lines. Gantz would be a little more gory because there is more fighting involve but Hellsing is a great way to laugh (depends on how you like gore).

The too are very similar killing monsters because you have to, blood, gore, death, ect. The only main difference is in Zetman the main character is a "Player" or monster that is designed to kill the other monsters. In Gantz it is regular humans that have died and are now sent to kill random alien/monsters. The art work on both are amazing and the thought that goes into both are amazing.
