Both Doubt and Battle Royale involve a survival game between High Schoolers. Both very gruesome. Both games in each of the series' bring out the evil nature of the characters.
Its a small group of people, the paranoid feeling that everyone is after you, and its generally creepy. There are certain differences tough, but it gives of the same feeling.
Both are pretty violent and have gruesome scenes in it.
Both have a creepy setting, and you don't know who you can trust, and who are behind the killings. Both keep you guessing all the way through!
Both Alive! and Doubt has characters turning against each other for something that they desire. Alive! is more out of person wants, while Doubt is on survival. Alive! has more of a complex ending to it than Doubt, but both are very psychological manga and both left me guessing what may happen next.
Both are dark, pyschological and concern murder and death
Both are dark, pyschological manga concerning murder
Both Doubt and Blue Heaven have a huge psychological part to the manga. Each one, although showing a different type of overall problem, come down to surviving through whatever they have been thrown into, and what characters will do to try and get out. Blue Heaven is structured a bit differently than Doubt in the way that the problem is presented, but I still recommend it to anyone that liked Doubt.
The two series are very similiar. Both involve trust and lying for your own gain with a lot of emphasis on human nature and psychology. While Liar Game is more about money, Doubt is more about a persons life, but both have the same basic idea of playing a game with a lot at stake.
Paranoia. Creepy mysterious killings. Who's responsible?
Both have a group of people trapped somewhere with frequent deaths. One is on an island/has to deal with suicides while the other has to do with murders in an abandoned building.
Similar plots Gantz is more supernatural and the enemies are aliens but beyond that it's like a mirror to Doubt.
It is all about tests and games. Dark, horror manga titles.
