Dulce Report (Manga)

Dulce Report is a one of a kind Hentai, Sci-fi, Gender Bender with a h-anime worthy story. It is rare to find a lengthy h-manga that doesn’t get boring or repetitive but to think it has this many volumes and is still going strong is simply amazing.

The story itself is about a teenage boy named Momose Tadashi that’s abducted by aliens, which are backed by an unknown organization (not known until later). He is then merged with an alien life-form, to become a hermaphrodite, capable of infiltrating the human consciousness and turn them into slaves or fellow hermaphrodites. The main story is easy to grasp, as it basically follows Momoe’s mission to gather some friends and slaves and have some fun. On the other hand the complex subplot that merely supports the main one can be confusing and difficult to comprehend, until later, once some of the questions that are floating around are answered.

The characters are pretty well-rounded because almost all bring something special to the intriguing story. The main ones are fairly well developed, as they go through many changes however remembering all of them can be difficult because some happen to steal the limelight from the rest (Aoi).

The character designs don’t help much because there are 3 girls, in particular, which are hard to tell apart. Yet the remaining aspects of the artwork are close to perfection with well drawn characters, detailed environments and superb sex scenes. Nevertheless the over-sized dicks and excessive bodily fluids are a bit of a problem.

Overall Dulce Report managed to produce something that is rarely seen in this genre… a great story. The story was quite enjoyable for a h-manga, seeing the antics these d-girls get up to but what ruins it a bit are the number of unanswered questions that still shroud things in mystery. This is still a h-manga that I would like to see adapted into a h-anime, sometime in the future.
