Recommendations

Ok, here is a recommendation for male readers and more mature readers of Dengeki Daisy, try Mel Kano. Mel Kano is a seinen/mature shounen but they have some similarities of theme. Both stories have online internet and email communication as a strong theme of the story and both stories have a romance in the back ground but also a group of computer experts trying to solve crime mysteries that involve online and computer themes. Both also have a lot of comedy and a guy who is a computer wiz and smart guy but who also is very tough fighter  read more

In both series, the main male protagonist meets a girl from the Internet. They have their own nicknames but later on gets to know each other in real life. Both the main characters in the series are considered sort of as loners but they open up more as the series progresses. Both manga has themes of drama, romance, and comedy.

Romance stories that involve a lot of use of the internet is the similar theme here, and email romance and both have a lot of comedy. If you haven't read Densa Otoko yet, go do it - it's a classic romance and a lot of fun! In Mel Kano the guy has online girl friends but acts different in person than online where he can express himself well but when he is in person he doesn't know how to act to girls - whereas in Train Man he looks at the girl but doesn't know how  read more

from the same author, Mel Kano shows the most normal situations in the funniest way. This manga is about couples, in fact online-couples, a very contemporary topic.

these two are similar because they bith have to do with dating and they are both just a bunch of small romance stories to make up the series. in both series most the stories end when the main characters of the story become a happy couple.

In these two publications, the similarity arises in the way the concept of communication is explored. However, they are not overly the same in nature and this recommendation is merely planted in their strong focus on communication - particularly communication mediums.
