Typical 1-0-1 school fight shonen manga, with a funny duo of delinquents, close style of drawings and that very "nice-but-sometimes-devilish" behaviour reminding Onizuka (and also the same dyed hair). If you liked this one, you'll like Shonan Jun'ai Gumi from Fujisawa, without a doubt ;)

Both of them feature deliquents entering high school. The MCs in each manga are way too strong, but look so stupid it makes up for their absurd strength. If you liked SJG or RokuBlues, you'll surely love the other.

Both of these manga are coming of age stories about delinquents, Bakuon Rettou is far more serious but SJG has it's share of drama as well. These are both really good stories about teenage youth and being delinquents.

this is the prequel to the great teacher onizuka manga.

Shonan Junai Gumi (Young GTO for many), is in many ways similar to Rookies; even if one is based on sports (baseball) and the other much more on school life, they both emphasize the role of dreams, and achievements. Most of the characters are yankees, who'll even turn into hard-working guy, with a lot of charisma. Both mangas promote the strength of friendship or team spirit, and each have awesome fights. Drawings are quite similar, even though I appreciated the design in Rookies more than in YGTO (which is crappy for 10 tankobons).

Shonan Junai Gumi and Crows have quite a lot of similarities. Both deal with delinquents and gangs being formed in high school. There is strong focus on character development in both series and former foes becoming friends is recurring theme as well. If you liked either of them I think you would like the other as well.

Both are manga that revolve around high schoolers fighting various punks, thugs and, mad men with plenty of romance and comedy inbetween.

Similar high school setting, similar high school delinquents and similar toilet humor. If your looking to read something with fast paced action and a strong male delinquent who's mind is pretty much set on losing his virginity, then both series will definitely be of interest. Shonan Junai Gumi is set around Eikichi Onizuka(who later becomes GTO) and his gang of toughs in high school, whilst Kenka Shoubai is about Satou Juubee who is sought out to be the toughest in his school. Both are hilarious and will have you laughing from chapter to chapter with their crude humor.

Both series feature two male leads who are exceptionally strong and feared among delinquents. Despite this, they are characters with good hearts and often go out of their way to help out others.
