Synopsis

Subaru Kawana has it all—she is smart, beautiful, and wealthy. This is in stark contrast to her childhood friend Akira Saitou, a boy who is the perfect example of mediocrity.

However, after years of separation and an uneventful high school reunion, Subaru has grown cold, and her relationship with Akira has turned bitter. Fortunately, Akira finds unlikely help from the mysterious Observe God, a powerful entity that magically connects his and Subaru's rooms into one, giving him the opportunity to reconcile with her. But the Observe God does not work for free: for his payment, he takes one hour of Subaru's self-control per day, and Akira soon discovers that his uptight friend has a more lewd, dirty side to her...

This is only my second review so please be easy on me :^)


This review might just be short, but it will be containing what I have felt was right in my own judgement.

Yesterday marked the end of Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou, although it is short, it is beautiful and had me fangirling at the end,

Storywise, it is decent, at least for me,

The Art is somewhat mediocre or its decent as well to say.

This manga has to go to horny jail!

Okay,unfunny jokes aside,this is a pretty bold story,it's always interesting to see a manga display matters of sexuallity in such an explicit manner,I personally see that as one of the many strengths of Inio Asano(Oyasumi Pun Pun,Sekai no Owari to Yoaki Mae) as an author,he displays it as a normal thing and doesn't fear showing it,and that gives a kind of sincerity to his work,but yeah...sometimes,at least for me,if you go too far on that,not only does it just become borderline hentai,but also laughable.

"Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou" is a half-decent romp, but fails to live up to its potential as most of its plot points are poorly set up. The work's poor plot setup also hurts the characterization present.

The plot centers around a god who grants our main characters a wish (which allows for their dorm rooms to become conjoined) in return for stealing the female main character's, Subaru's, self-control for one hour every day.
