Both follow two people in what appears to be the final days of their life as they spend time and grow together.

The main protagonists of these two series are similar in the sense that both of them don't like each other in the start of the series and are strangers who met in some unforeseen circumstances. The two manga are not very long and the art style are quite similar. Originality of the two stories cannot be ignored.

In both series, male and female characters stay in the same room for a reason. Naturally there is an interaction between them and a short ecchi manga emerges.

Both are bittersweet romances that deal with love and death. However, Magi no Okurimono deals also with loss in a very mature fashion. If you were a fan of the bittersweet mood of Half & Half, you would also enjoy Magi no Okurimono. The length is comparable, and the art is just as fantastic as Seo Kouji's, if not more so.

Same author and creator Seo Kouji - Boy and girl live together - Similar art and atmosphere although Half & Half is more mature - Female leads look similar and act in a familiar way

While Ashita, boku wa Shinu* is a light novel and half&half is a manga, both share similar setting in which the male and female protagonist share a body with the intervention of a mysterious power after one or both characters died at the prologue. Of course, during course of residing in the same shell, the couple gradually fall in love with each other. Bittersweet romance and just maybe tragic.

Both revolve about a couple who are tied to death. They're not accustomed to each other at first, and learn to love each other by the end of their lifespan. The only difference is that, Shinigami Lovers's male protagonist is the shinigami and it is the female protagonist who has to die while Half & Half's male and female protagonists undergo a situation in which one of them must die by the end of their 7 days living on Earth.
