Synopsis

Shiho is a "private actress" who works for a production company. She also does personal assignments that needs her to pretend to be a different person. She takes on assignments for people and takes on the personality of the person who they are pretending to be.

I haven't been able to get ahold of any chapters past 11 but from what I've read so far, this manga is very enjoyable!

While this is definitely within the shoujo manga category, I think that its mystery elements make it much more interesting than a typical shoujo series. Although the nature of the manga is episodic, there are already hints in what I've read of the overarching plot regarding Shiho's past and how she is growing as a character. In addition, I like that the main romance changes both characters and therefore, creates an interesting relationship.

Overall, this is a great shoujo read and read more

User Recommendations
Both is about actresses talented and passionate in acting. Some aspects is the same. Both actresses have the ability to merge with an character. In the last chapters of Skip Beat, the actress "acts" in real life. In P.A. the actress work as an actor that can be hired for any role in real life.

Love of Acting and Drama! Though Private Actress is more episodic than Glass Mask, both heroines exhibit strength and admirable ability for the sake of acting!
