Plot
This manga is about two freshman, Tokino Akiyama, who has always been extremely lucky and Chihiro Enomoto who has had the worst luck all of his life(who have both been childhood friends). There lives both changed though when they entered Rikkyoin Acadamy, a school where every decision is decided by kujibiki(lottery), decisions which include deciding who gets to enroll and even who becomes apart of the next student council! The story begins to unraval when Tokino draws the Vice-President kujibiki and Chihiro draws the President kujibiki. Tokino and Chihiro, along with the other two council members, Renko Kamishakuji(Secretary) and Koyuki Asagiri(Treasurer) go through a whole year of training to be deemed acceptable by the current cousil members by doing many tasks that the council members have to do(also decided by kujibiki) and if they do not execute the tasks correctly they will be immediately expelled, no matter how dangerous it may be!
Review
I bought the manga on impulse since the spine art looked nice. I had no idea how much I would fall in love with the series! It is chock full of fanservice and 'badaw' moments(mainly from Koyuki). It has a nice balance of action, comedy, ecchi that would make anyone like the series. The characters are all so amazing too, each one makes them seem very life like, for example; despite Tokino's stereotype cheerful personality and ditzy-ness she still deals with a conflict of whether or not to let her main crush to get closer to her best friend. Once again, this is definitely recommend to everyone who can handle alot of panty-shot and the occasional rude dialogue. Although be careful though, don't get to engulfed into the series, it only has TWO volumes, I was so sad when I finished the second volume and it said "The End", but despite that you should still read it.
Art
Oh my god the art, is just amazing on the inside and out! The art is actually the whole reason why I bought the first volume. The cover art executes such beautiful color, with how bold it is and how well the blend colors together and their uses of blue highlights! When you open the book you wont be disappointed by the art inside either. The lineart is all very clear and crisp so it is easy to understand what's going on and the screen tones, jesus the screen tones are to DIE for! I don't think I've ever been this much in love with a manga's screen tone style! The character design of each character is very distinct so you can easily tell who is who (even just by looking at only there eye). read more
