SynopsisWhen Hina hits a homerun ball and goes to get it back she realizes she has damaged a shrine with the baseball. When she touches the object inside the shrine the object is absorbed into her and she becomes the shrine's god. Now she is protected by the shrine's guard dogs, Shishi and Koma. The humor is similar, and so are some of the characters, especially Kyo and Shishi (who has a LOT of similarities with Kyo). If you're a fan of the pairing of Kyo and Tohru, then you'll probably enjoy Sailor Fuku ni Onegai's Hina and Shishi, except that the pacing is faster.
Sailor Fuku ni Onegai is a great read for those that loved the relationship between Kyo/Tohru. Though Hinagiku has more spunk than Tohru does.

Same "girl becomes God" and has a troublesome shrine guardian kind of storyline. I prefer "Kamisama Hajimemashita" for it's ever so slightly darker humor.
A girl finds herself becoming the land god of a local shrine and gains an annoying shrine guardian in the process. Both are fun, short and feature a tsundere male lead.
